[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Welcome to Stretford Paddock Football Club<\/strong> \u2013 a unique, fan-owned football club based in the heart of Stretford, Manchester. Founded in 2020, our mission has been to bring high-quality, competitive football to our local community, and we\u2019ve been working diligently to achieve this goal ever since.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
\nOur Teams and Competitions:<\/strong> Currently, we have eight sides \u2013 our first team, reserves, Under 21s, multiple Under 16s, and multiple Under 12s \u2013 that compete in various leagues across the North West of England. Our first team competes in the Cheshire League, the 13th tier of the English football pyramid, with ambitions of competing in the FA Cup, the oldest football competition in the world, in the near future. The reserve side plays in the Lancashire and Cheshire League, while our U21s compete in the highly competitive North West Youth Development League, which includes some of the top non-league clubs. Our U16s and U12s play in the East Manchester Junior Football League, showcasing the talent of our younger players.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Our Unique Fan Ownership:<\/strong> What sets us apart from other football clubs is our unique model of being entirely fan-owned. With over 1300 members having a say in the running of the club, we\u2019re a true community club that puts our supporters at the heart of everything we do. We believe our fans are the backbone of the club, and their involvement in every decision ensures we stay true to our values and mission.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Our Expanding Academy:<\/strong> In addition to our senior teams, we\u2019re expanding our academy with more junior teams, encompassing approximately over 100 players. Our junior teams play in the East Manchester Junior Football League, with multiple sides at both the U12 and U16 levels. We are committed to providing opportunities for young footballers to develop their skills and become part of the Stretford Paddock FC family. Looking ahead, we aim to have a full set of academy players, both boys and girls, and we welcome existing sides that wish to join the club to get in touch with us.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Our Digital Presence:<\/strong> We\u2019re proud to have documented the birth of our club on our YouTube channel, which boasts over 50,000 subscribers. Our videos provide a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a football club from scratch. This journey has not only engaged our fans but also attracted a wider football community, building a strong digital presence and following.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Looking Ahead:<\/strong> At Stretford Paddock Football Club, we\u2019re more than just a football club \u2013 we\u2019re a community. Our vision is to find our own home in the borough of Trafford, continuing to provide high-quality football while involving our fans and supporters in every aspect of the club.
