Stretford Paddock look to bounce back following their first defeat of the season, when they host Hartford FC at the Butcher’s Arms Ground on Saturday.

On the back of last weeks postponed match away to Moore United, Paddocks previous game also being there most recent at home ended in a two-nil defeat to Mersey Valley. Which saw winger Kieron Molloy sent off, who will serve the first of his three-match ban this weekend.

The heavy rain at the weekend saw all but three matches called off, despite this Paddock have slipped to sixth position in the league. As positive results for Lymm Rovers and Haydock FC, who handed league leaders Pilkington u23s their first defeat of the season, leapfrog Paddock. Although paddock hold a number of games in hand over the teams that surround us.

Our opponents sit 14th in the league and are yet to win in the league and sit just above bottom of the table Wigan, by two points with only two draws in eight matches so far in the league.

Omar Sinclair is currently injured and therefore won’t be in the squad. However, the clubs top assist maker and defensive stalwart Mikey Burke, looks set to play against the team which he unlocked last time with some defense splitting passes. There may also be a potential opportunity for Callum Walsh to be in the squad, with a final fitness check taking place before the match.
