After a brief hiatus from football between ages 14 and 17, he resumed playing in college, leading his team to a league and cup double and an undefeated season, culminating in a national cup final which they narrowly lost on penalties. One of his standout moments came when he played a pivotal role in winning the Murray Trophy with Manchester Central as a teenager, highlighting his early exposure to men’s football.

Known for his leadership both on and off the pitch, Zak views himself as a natural leader, a trait acknowledged and respected by his teammates, especially the younger players.

Personal Interests and Aspirations:

Outside of football, Zak works at the RAC and enjoys travelling on holidays. His aspirations are straightforward yet profound: to be the best version of himself and maintain a positive outlook, spreading smiles wherever he goes.

Personal Football Journey

My football journey began at FC Sports before joining Droylsden Juniors when I was around 8 years old. At 12, I spent a season with Great Moor and then signed with Wigan Athletic for a couple of seasons. I later joined Stockport County until I was 16, followed by a two-year scholarship at AFC Fylde before joining Stretford Paddock FC. Some significant milestones include winning the English Schools Competition three times and representing Manchester School Boys.

Role at Stretford Paddock FC

In the team, I bring high energy and a strong willingness to run. My key contributions include making third-man runs, getting into the box, and putting pressure on the ball to help us control the game.

Personal Interests and Aspirations

I am set to attend the University of Salford to study Sports Rehabilitation. Outside of football, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, attending Manchester United matches, and watching football in general. My long-term aspiration is to become a physiotherapist.

Mike’s football passion was ignited at Fletcher Moss at the tender age of 4. His early promise led him through various academy teams, culminating in a stint at Macclesfield until his release at 17 in 2012. While earning his football coaching badges at Manchester College, Mike represented both the England Schoolboys and England Colleges teams. His post-college career saw him play for notable non-league clubs including FC United, West Didsbury & Chorlton, Northwich, and Wythenshawe Town.

As one of the more seasoned members of a predominantly young squad, Mike brings crucial communication and leadership both on and off the field. His presence helps foster team cohesion and understanding, vital for translating the club’s football philosophy into successful gameplay.

Juan’s football journey prior to joining Stretford Paddock included playing for the Bromley FC Academy and competing in step 7 first-team football with Battersea Ironsides in London.

While still early in his tenure at Paddock, Juan is eager to create memorable highlights. His initial experiences include winning his first game and gaining valuable match exposure. At Bromley, he played with the U23s, where scoring a crucial brace off the bench stands out as a pivotal moment. His consistent performance at the U18 level earned him Player of the Year, contributing significantly to his team reaching shield finals and competing strongly in the league.

Personal Football Journey:

Juan kicked off his football path at age four with a local youth side. His formative years saw him move to London, playing for various Sunday league and Selkent teams before joining Bromley’s academy. Memorable moments in his career include impactful performances in U23 matches and robust cup runs with his U18 team, alongside experiencing men’s football at just 17.

Career Highlights

One of my career highlights was clearing the ball off the line to secure a 4-3 win for my old team. Scoring for Paddock’s U21s to make it 2-2 was also a memorable moment, especially when the U21s were going through a rough patch.

Personal Football Journey

I started playing grassroots football and then moved to Badgers FC, where we won the league cup and got promoted to the premier division. After that, I was scouted by Hereford and played for their shadow squad U16. Later, I played for Worcester Youths FC and then transitioned to men’s Saturday league back home. Now, I am enjoying my best football at Paddock.

Role at Paddock

I play as a center back, focusing on protecting the goal and doing the dirty work. I’m also the loudest player on the pitch, trying to lead the team to a win. Currently, I am training with both the Reserves and First team, and I am the captain for the reserves during the pre-season, hoping to set a good example for the players around me.

Personal Interests and Aspirations

I play football quite a lot as I coach for a 1-1 coaching company and volunteer as a coach for a university team. I work part-time as a bartender. My future aspiration is to become a Head of Youth Development Coach for a Premier League team, ensuring kids at youth academies get fair opportunities. Within football, I aim to play at a high level in the future but am currently very happy at Paddock. I want to push for the first team and help them in any way possible this season.

– Began playing football at Hough End Griffins, where I played from ages 5 to 16.
– Won the league countless times and secured the County Cup.
– Played at Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers, Morecambe FC, and Blackpool at the junior football level.
– Signed for Radcliffe Borough FC at age 16, then moved on to play for Witton Albion and Skelmersdale FC.

Role at Stretford Paddock FC

– As a right back, my primary duty is to defend and assist in getting the ball to attacking players.
– Push forward to make the pitch as wide as possible and create additional attacking options.
– Although I have yet to play a competitive match for Stretford Paddock, I commit to giving my all in every game and leaving everything on the pitch.

Within the team, Kayode is embracing the role of a leader, a responsibility he is earnestly learning to fulfill. He strives to excel in his position and contribute positively both on and off the pitch, ensuring he plays his role effectively in every match.

After aging out at 18, he spent a year at Greater Manchester FC before bringing his talents to Stretford Paddock FC. Winning leagues during his junior years remains a cherished memory.

As a defensive-minded midfielder, Joseph focuses on winning the ball and supporting the team’s more offensive players. Recently graduated from university, Joseph is exploring a career in football coaching. He enjoys playing darts, badminton, and recently took up padel.
